CREATION PRE-EVENT PRAYER

The pre-event prayer team is beginning to form, and we are need those that are feeling lead to start coming alongside us with prayer coverage for the event. Here are a few specific needs we will would ask that for prayer.

• That the speakers and musicians will begin to be prepared for the witness and message that He has ordained to be spoken through them.

• It is not to early to pray for good weather. That God will ordain glorious weather for the weeks ahead of, during and after the festival.

• That the hearts of those attending would be prepared to receive and act upon His words and leading at this years festival.

• Pray for a covering over the staff of creation and all those that will serve at this years festival by giving of their time and talents.

Well, as a scared reformed drug dealer (new believer) I was afraid of what the Christian scene was all about... I was being "dragged" to a festival and it seemed to me that it was all a bunch of goody goodies. Everyone in my campsite was great sweet, nice, and thoughtful. I was smoking cigarettes like a chimney at our camp, but since we could only do it at camp it made us more apt to stay around camp (sounds like I am a real winner right). I, at the first speaker of the day (Pat Mesiti), was getting ready for a goody goody talk. I thought that all these speaker were necessary evils. well he starts in and my friend Ryan and I were listening... wow he is good! I felt like he was speaking to me... me and me alone! I gave up smoking to Christ that day along with a whole lot of things. To this day I thank God for Creation and Pat Mesiti... two Jesus tools that helped a big baby grow up those strange days in 1999. As of now I'm practicing to be a minister. WOW what a difference Creation has made every year since. I love you guys!
